Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 4 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 4 tbsp dark soya sauce
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Direction
Preheat oven to 200 C Cover a baking tray with some aluminum foil Cut the chicken wings in half at the joint In a large bowl mix the ketchup, garlic, brown sugar, soya sauce, salt, pepper, and the sweet chilli sauce Tip in the wings and toss them in the sauce so that they are coated well Allow the wings to marinate in the sauce for 30 minutes Place the wings on the prepared baking tray in a single layer Brush half of the remaining marinade on the wings using a pastry brush Bake for 20 minutes in the oven and then turn them over and brush some more of the marinade on the other side and bake them for 20 minutes more Serve warm
