Chicken Pulao In Hara Masala

Ingredients


  • Chicken / mutton 1kg
  • Basmati rice 3 mugs
  • Oil 2 cooking spoon
  • Whole garam masala 2 tbs
  • Onions sliced 3
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Green chillies 3
  • Corriender powder 1tsp
  • Cumin powder 1tsp
  • Water 3 to mugs/cups
  • Ingredients for Hara Masala
  • Fresh corriender 1/2 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Green chillies 6 to 7
  • Garlic 8 cloves
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Nutmeg 1/2 blend in paste or crush well
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Direction


1. Heat the oil and add onions and the whole garam masala.fry onions till the colour changes to light brown then add the hara masala and fry well till the colour and the aroma changes.
2. Now add the chicken pieces and cook well for 5 mins then add 1/2 cup water and cover.
3. When the water evaportes add the dry masalas with the salt and tomatoes and cook for another 5 mins.
4. Now add the water and the garam masala powder. when the water starts to boil then add the rice and cover the lid. when the half of the water is dried then leave the rice on very low flame for 10 mins.
5. Pulao is ready u can ser it with raita.
6. Note: if cooking mutton pulao then first make the mutton stock and use the stock instead of plain water and follow the same steps.
